Methods of Promoting of Sex Education

The common avenues to promote sex education is primarily given to parents, relatives or caregivers. Then the responsibility is passed on to schools and are required to have programs or course to address this delicate matter. The church may also take part in these programs for their parishioners. Then the government or public health organizations have drives or campaigns to educate the people on this area, especially in the field of family planning. Any education on sex should come close to home that is why this matter should first be handled by parents or those closest to him or her.

Promoting sex education

This is because when someone related or close to him or her discusses it, there is a greater chance of absorption and of practising what was taught. Furthermore, the bond between them would serve as a conduit for trust and confidence. The downside to this is that if the person teaching sex education is not fully knowledgeable and experienced on the topic. This may lead to misconceptions on his understanding of the subject. The other avenues are mere buttresses to support what has been initially taught or mistakenly taught.
