Abstinence
The easiest natural method of birth control to practise is abstinence which may mean avoiding vaginal, anal, and oral-genital intercourse or all types of sexual or intimate contact like kissing, petting, hugging, fondling or mutual masturbation. But this method is the most difficult to follow and requires a solid and unwavering commitment. No sexual intercourse with the opposite sex or genital contact whatsoever means that there is absolutely no opportunity that the man’s sperm can unite and fertilize the woman’s egg.

Sex abstinence
Abstinence is the only kind of natural birth control method that is 100% proven safe and effective in avoiding pregnancy. It is the most economical and worry free, as abstinence does not require you to buy and prepare things in order to avoid pregnancy unlike other forms of birth control which depend on equipments, observations, monitoring and technique. Also, since there is no form of sexual contact, it prevents the risk of contracting any sexually transmitted disease that a partner might already have.
